2009-2010 School year
Training for pupils and teachers of the State schools each order and degree
on the integration of pupils of different ethnic groups in schools.

Analysis of the Israeli's experience of intercultural educational relations :
 real examples and experiments with the contribution of informal education.
In the past three years the seminar -A culture in many cultures - was  addressed only  to teachers. After a particularly successful experiment done only with students , we have decided, for the year 2009 / 2010, to conduct the workshop with pupils and their teachers together, in order to create a virtual environment of sharing that can be repeated in each type of group class.
It will be useful for delete, or at least reduce the barriers created by the respective roles.
 
target : two classes of medium or high school about 50 pupils of the same school or two different. schools
When?: end of October 2009.
Orario: from 10 to 12 group, from 14 to 16 other group.
Goals:
  • Create an atmosphere of reception and  active  sharing in the  class, so pupils will be  able to respect  and to hold a dialogue with each diversity, and at the same time developing their identity.
  • Create the relationship between pupils through a atmosphere  of cooperation and mutual interest.
  • Make use of the Israeli educational knowledge about  the problems of integration and social and cultural interaction .
 
 
Content
o innovative techniques for the consolidation of the Group and the class: "" individual identity and collective identity”. “ from etnocentrismo to multiculturalism”.
o knowledge of some of the current teaching methods  adopted in the schools  of Israel  in favour of an active  coexistence.
o methodologies and techniques to facilitate the integration of the students of different culture and origin.
o methods to motivate your class and enhance the difference as a springboard in the school of today and the society of the future.
o informal education as a way  to affirm and strengthen  identity.
Program
  • Knowledge and consolidation of the operating group :  consolidate both students and teachers groups.
  • Laboratory of mediation and negotiation to resolve conflicts, inspired to examples of daily school life.
  • Images of a video that tells the friendship between Jewish and Arab Christian boys of the Rainbow community theatre of the Galilee.
 
Meetings are concluded with the administration of questionnaires to the present,  debate and operational proposals.
