Dear Chavera, 

We are pleased to announce that the International WIZO Lapid Seminar will take place from the 14^th to the 18^th of January, 2007, and will be conducted in parallel with the Meeting of Representatives.

We have just concluded the 2006 WIZO Aviv International Seminar, and we still feel the emotional “high”. It was a great success both in quality and quantity, and I am sure that the International Lapid Seminar will be just as successful.

The Lapid Seminar is open to WIZO members age 45 and above who are potential future leaders in their Federations, including members who are officeholders or members who would be interested in taking on positions of responsibility in the future.

In the course of the Seminar we will focus on empowerment, on providing working tools, and on touring WIZO projects and other sites of interest.

The Seminar is an excellent opportunity for the future leadership of WIZO to meet with WIZO leaders from Federations all over the world.

The Seminar will take place at the Tel Aviv Hilton. The registration fee is US$ 150. Hotel accommodation costs are US$62.50 per person on a Bed and Breakfast basis, sharing a double room. A single room (B&B) costs US$ 120.
